CSIU Education Association student award winners

Scholarship Award
The CSIU Education Association makes an annual scholarship award to a child of a CSIU staff member.  Sarah Solomon, Millville Junior-Senior High School, will receive a $200 award toward her studies in elementary music education at Lebanon Valley College.  Sarah has been active in band, chorus, choir and student government throughout high school.  Her mother Patty Solomon is a senior computer systems analyst with the CSIU.

Post-Secondary Training Award
The association also makes a monetary award to help a student who has received services from the CSIU continue his or her education after high school.  Evan Wright, Warrior Run High School, was nominated by social worker Tim Gilliom and will receive $200 toward his studies in anthropology at Lock Haven University.  Evan has consistently earned A’s and B’s in his academics, and has been involved in both the band and choir.
